Summer Reading Matters!

Sorry students – summer reading is more than just busy work!

A brain MRI showed an increase in grey matter after students completed their summer reading program. Grey matter includes regions of the brain involved in muscle control, and sensory perception such as seeing and hearing, memory, emotions, speech, decision making, and self-control.

Pick up a good book and get lost in the pages!
