There’s More Than a Castle on the Cloud

As of 2015 over 100,000 kids visited Disney World Orlando through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, but traveling with severe physical issues can create problems in and of itself. Many kids are subjected to far more imaging scans and therefore radiation just so that the local hospital can treat them effectively. Well, a trauma hospital in Orlando, Florida has found the solution. Cloud imaging.

Through Cloud Imaging, a child’s medical history and past scans can be shared with fellow doctors around the world allowing wonderful programs like the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Give Kids the World Village can keep these sick children happy and safe. The program has been such a success in Orlando that it is extending to popular Make-A-Wish destinations around the country. Health, Happiness, and Hope; that’s what these programs and cloud imaging stand for.

At Nighthawk Radiology we employ cloud imaging for sharing as well. This allows hospitals quick and easy access to reports, images, and our U.S. Board Certified Doctors. We know just how important it is for information to be shared quickly, safely, and accurately.
